It’s back to school time.
Not just for students and teachers, but also for the school resource officers that keep everyone safe.
The three school resource officers in Two Rivers are very excited to return to their posts in the schools, but they are also warning about the dangers of popular back-to-school posts on social media.
The officers posed with blackboards which state their name, age, teacher, and some of their favorite things, similar to what many parents do with their children.
While photos like these are fun keepsakes for families to look back on in the future, they should not be posted on social media.
As the Two Rivers Police Department said, “These details can unintentionally put your child at risk for abduction/exploitation as well as inadvertently advertising common login/password recovery information.”
