A local professional wrestling promotion is gearing up for its third annual charity benefit show.
The show put on by One Fall Entertainment will once again benefit the Pink Heals of Sheboygan County and will be held on October 7th.
OFE has been bringing in wrestlers who have performed on the national stage to augment their already stacked local lineup of performers.
Eric Tyler, who is organizing the event said that is once again the case, as for the second year in a row, Al Snow is going to wrestle.
“We also have Doug Basham who is a former two-time WWE Tag Team Champion,” he reveled. “Also coming in is the current Impact Digital Media Champion, Kenny King…former WWE superstar, who is now in Impact, Heath (Heath Slater), and former multi-time Impact Tag Team Champion and NWA Tag Team Champion, Cowboy James Storm.”
While having these well-known wrestlers in town for a local show is fun for those in attendance, Tyler said it is also a great learning experience for the local guys and gals looking to make an impact.
“I think they learn a lot from the guys that have been on TV,” Tyler said. “Especially before the shows when they actually get to know them in person compared to their character and stuff. It is a new and different experience.”
The Pink Heals show will be held in a new location this year.
Due to rising interest over the past few years, Tyler said they needed a bigger venue, so they moved to Saint Elizabeth Anne Seton Catholic School, located at 814 Superior Avenue in Sheboygan.
