A youth baseball coach in Kaukauna is facing charges after he allegedly stole money from the organization.
The Kaukauna Police Department had set up a camera system in the concessions stand at Horseshoe Park after Kaukauna Youth Baseball reported a significant amount of money missing.
Kevin Doszak, a coach for the 11 and 12-year-old league, was then caught on camera several times taking cash totaling around $725.
However, the organization’s treasurer reported that the concessions stand lost nearly $3,000 when compared to the past two years.
Doszak admitted to also taking the camera, thinking it was a battery charger, but destroyed it when he realized what it was.
He has been charged with seven counts of Burglary to a Building, Theft of Movable Property between $2,500 and $5,000, and Criminal Damage to Property.
He is currently free on a $10,000 signature bond and is due in court in October for a plea hearing.
