
An incident involving firearms is under investigation in Sheboygan.
According to Lt. Matt Walsh, the Sheboygan Police Department received several calls Sunday evening regarding a man firing a weapon in the 1000 block of North 16h Street.
When officers arrived, the man retreated into a residence, leading to a perimeter being set up.
They were able to convince the man to surrender and noted several signs of impairment.
Several firearms were seized from the residence while charges are being referred to the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s Office.
No injuries were reported, and the incident is being considered an isolated one with no additional danger to the public.
