
One of the individuals involved in the officer-related shooting in Glendale last Friday was confirmed to be a wanted individual.
Milwaukee Police reported that they arrived at the Residence Inn hotel on Port Washington Road in Glendale with the intention of apprehending an 18-year-old who was wanted on multiple warrants.
As officers approached, the suspect attempted to flee at high speed, leading to a situation where he unintentionally trapped an officer against a police pickup.
In response, the officer discharged their weapon, resulting in injuries to two individuals, including the aforementioned suspect.
Fortunately, both wounded men are anticipated to recover from their injuries.
The officer was promptly transported to the hospital and is presently in the process of recuperation.
The incident is currently undergoing thorough examination as part of an ongoing investigation.
