There are a pair of meetings on the calendar for this evening (August 28th) in the City of Manitowoc.
First up will be the Room Tax Commission which will gather in the Council Chambers at 4:30 p.m.
They will immediately enter a closed session to discuss the lawsuit with the Manitowoc Area Visitor and Convention Bureau which was resolved last week.
As we reported at the time, the judge ordered the City re-enter an agreement with the MAVCB.
Then at 5:00 p.m., the Library Board will gather in the Board Room at the Manitowoc Public Library.
After giving the public time to comment and reviewing this year’s budget, they will look over next year’s budget.
