The matchup was tied at zero entering the 5th inning when the Rattlers Struck first. They plated 2 runs, but the Bandits struck back in the 6th with 3.
The rattlers would re-take the lead in the bottom half of the 6th, plating 2 more runs, and tacked on another in the 7th.
The Bandits would retake the lead in the 8th scoring 3 runs, but the Rattlers never gave up.
They hammered Parker Hamm for 5 runs in the 5th, and Tanner Shears would slam the door shut in the 9th to secure the save and the win.
Stivin Cruz earned the win in relief while Joe Grey Jr. led the offense, reaching base 5 times in 5 attempts.
He hit a single and a double and was walked 5 times while also stealing a base and scoring twice.
Game three of the series is scheduled for 6:40 tonight, with Alexander Cornielle slated to get the start.
