A Manitowoc man has been sentenced in a child porn case.
Dylan Nessman was ordered by Judge Robert Dewane to spend two years on probation and to not use any internet-enabled devices unless approved by his probation officer.
Police had received a cyber tip in July to an uploaded Child Sexual Assault Material from an IP address at Nessman’s residence in the 1600 block of South 15th Street.
A search warrant was served where Nessman admitted to searching several internet sites to obtain and share pornographic material in different chatrooms.
When he was arrested, Nessman reportedly told police that he knew his activity had escalated to not being healthy and was relieved he got caught.
Nessman also confessed to downloading the material but never manufactured it, or had any sexual contact with a minor child.
