There are a pair of meetings on the City of Manitowoc’s calendar today (August 21st).
Starting off the night will be the Committee of the Whole, which will be in the Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m.
They will be discussing a flood study update before entering a closed session to talk about the gravel pit.
Then, at 6:30 p.m., the Common Council will take over the Council Chambers where Detective Jason Denk will take his oath of office.
The group will then discuss using a donation to repair the fence at Miracle Field and the pedestrian signage on South 18th Street near Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry.
They will also talk about employee back pay before looking over a couple of resolutions to hire seasonal employees and approving a $2,000 bonus for transit drivers through 2024.
