Milwaukee prosecutors are proceeding with the legal process to bring homicide charges against a security guard who allegedly shot a man over a package of snack cakes last week.
The District Attorney’s office took action on Friday by formally filing first-degree intentional homicide charges against William Pinkin, a 56-year-old individual.
According to police reports, Pinkin drew a firearm and shot Isaiah Allen, 29, in response to Allen’s attempted theft of the snack cakes.
Pinkin has a prior criminal history, having served time in prison for a manslaughter conviction in 1990.
More recently, he was incarcerated again in 2019. However, he was released earlier this year.
The incident involving the shooting of Isaiah Allen has stirred up ongoing inquiries from Allen’s family, who are seeking clarity and resolution in the case.
