A University of Wisconsin-Madison IT employee has been arrested on allegations of viewing illicit content involving minors.
The individual in question, Michael Burmeister, was apprehended at his residence in Lodi last Friday following the execution of a search warrant.
In a recent court appearance, Burmeister faced charges consisting of four counts related to the possession of child pornography.
Having been a staff member at the university since 2001, Burmeister’s tenure has now come under scrutiny due to these allegations.
