A recent report highlights the issue of a mouse infestation plaguing the state prison located in Green Bay.
The recently appointed head of Ex-Incarcerated People Organizing has stated that inmates within the Green Bay Correctional Institution are resorting to unconventional measures, such as using rolled-up towels to block their cell doors, in an attempt to keep mice at bay.
The inmate organization reveals that the presence of mice has been a persistent concern spanning several years.
Acknowledging the problem at hand, a representative from the prison has confirmed their awareness of the mouse infestation predicament.
As a response, they have enlisted the assistance of professional exterminators to address the issue.
However, it has come to light that some inmates are inadvertently exacerbating the situation by providing food sources to the mice, thereby contributing to the ongoing problem.
