Alterations to Wisconsin’s liquor laws are on the horizon, with a State Senate committee scheduled to discuss the proposed revisions tomorrow.
This plan encompasses a comprehensive overhaul of regulations spanning various establishments, including wineries and wedding barns.
Among the proposed changes are provisions aimed at simplifying the process for breweries and wineries to offer a wider array of their own beverages to patrons.
Despite the broad support, there are dissenting voices, particularly regarding the regulations mandating liquor licenses for wedding barns or capping the number of weddings they can host annually.
The evolution of these changes has spanned several years and enjoys bipartisan backing from both Democrats and Republicans within the Capitol.
