The seasons have come to an end for two local semi-pro football teams, one with a win and the other with a loss.
The Manitowoc County Mariners were in Chicago where they took on the unbeaten Illinois Cowboys in the Eastern Conference Championship.
The Cowboys proved why they are unbeaten, as they dispatched the Mariners 36-0, ending a solid season for the Manitowoc team.
On the other side of the coin, the Sheboygan County SaberCats were able to secure their second league championship in three years with a revenge game against the Midwest Renegades.
The same two teams battled for the league championship last year, which the Renegades won.
This year, the SaberCats would pick up the win in Joliet Illinois, 14-12.
