It seems as though the Manitowoc Bandits’ biggest foe this postseason has been mother nature.
Once again, the Bandits had a postseason game halted due to rain, this time the decisive game 3 of the Shoreland League Championship series with the Denmark Devilbears.
The game was knotted at 2 as the game entered the 8th inning when Denmark scored 3 runs to put the pressure on.
The Bandits would respond by putting a pair of runners on base in the bottom of the 8th when Mother Nature intervened.
The skies opened up and the rain began to fall, so the game had to be suspended.
It will continue on Wednesday, picking up exactly where it left off at Manitowoc’s Municipal Field.
