The Green Bay Rockers took down the visiting Fond du Lac Dock Spiders yesterday 6-4.
Michael Riley picked up the win in relief, going 5 innings where he allowed only 4 hits and 1 run.
The Rockers’ 7 hits were pretty evenly distributed, with Andrew Harris the only batter to get more than one hit.
The win was very important in terms of the postseason, as they lead the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters by only half a game in the West Division standings.
The two teams will square off this weekend in the final series of the Rockers’ season.
Game 1 at Witter Field in Rapids is scheduled for tonight at 6:35 p.m., while game two starts at the same time Saturday.
