A Green Bay man charged with operating a meth house was in court yesterday where he revealed he was struggling to find legal counsel.
65-year-old Stephen Preisler, referred to as “Uncle Fester” was arrested on July 14th on charges including Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place, and Manufacturing/Delivering Amphetamine.
He told the court that he was struggling to find an attorney because his bail, set at $100,000, was too high, and no attorney would touch the case.
He also attempted to argue the charges, saying the identification of some of the items in his South Baird Street home were incorrect, but the Court Commissioner told Preisler that he would have to discuss those details with an attorney.
He did agree to continue to attempt to get legal counsel and is due back in court on August 18th.
