A Manitowoc woman is facing charges for her role in the overdose death of a man back in June.
Police and EMS were dispatched to the scene of a deceased 40-year-old male on June 19th, where they located drug paraphernalia including a hypodermic syringe.
A female suspect was believed to have supplied the rugs that killed the unidentified man, but she was not at the residence at the time.
She was contacted by phone where she claimed to be stranded in Milwaukee.
When she returned, she admitted to supplying the victim with the drugs that killed him.
An autopsy was completed this week, which confirmed investigator’s suspicions, and the 39-year-old woman was officially named a suspect.
The woman was taken into custody on Tuesday on charges of First Degree Reckless Homicide and Delivering Methamphetamine.
