The Green Bay Rockers appeared to be in control, but a big 7th inning by the Madison Mallards was all it took to give them an 8-7 win.
The Rockers took a 6-3 lead into the 7th, when reliever Henry Chabot would allow a runner to score on a double to right field and a grand slam to center field to give the Mallards the lead.
The Rockers would chip into that lead in the 8th with a run-scoring single from Jayson Jones, but that’s all the offense they could muster.
Chabot suffered the loss while Kendal Ewell went 2 for 3 at the plate for the Rockers.
Jones also had two hits on the day along with JoJo Jackson and Cooper Kelly.
The Rockers will look to shake off the sting of being swept at home as they travel to Fond du Lac to take on the Dock Spiders.
First pitch at Herr-Baker Field is set for 6:35 p.m.
