Yesterday, a judge in Chippewa County heard the suspect’s attorney attempt to make the case for shifting the trial to juvenile court.
According to the expert’s testimony from yesterday, the suspect may not have fully understood what he did due to his mild autism.
The now-15-year-old is accused of raping then killing 10-year-old Lily Peters in April of last year after beating and strangling her.
