There are a pair of Manitowoc County governmental meetings today (August 8th).
The Veteran Service Commission started off the day in the Heritage Center at 9:30 a.m. where they reviewed the applications for assistance they have received over the past month.
Then, at 4:00 p.m., the County Highway Committee will gather at the Highway Department building where they will get an update on a project at the airport.
They will also review a couple of speed limit requests throughout the county and will get updates on bridge aid and the high-risk rural road program.
