An hours-long weekend standoff in Pewaukee ended peacefully but with an arrest.
On Saturday, police swarmed the Bridlewood Apartments just south of Capitol after Milwaukee Police informed Waukesha County deputies that a domestic violence suspect might be hiding there.
According to Milwaukee Police, the 29-year-old was carrying both a pistol and a rifle.
The SWAT team, the sheriff’s office, and the Pewaukee Pole all responded.
After about four hours, they were finally able to persuade the man to give up.
He is awaiting charges.
