One person is dead after being hit by a train in Rusk County.
It happened on the trestle near Capener Road in the Town of Hubbard on Saturday evening.
According to Rusk County Sheriff Jeffery Wallace, the victim was pinned beneath the train.
Rescue workers attempted to pull them out, but the individual died on the scene.
Nobody knows why the person was on the tracks.
The sheriff’s office says more information about the case will be available later today.
