A residential explosion in Rusk County on Wednesday morning resulted in an individual sustaining injuries.
According to Ladysmith firefighters, the incident occurred at approximately 10:00 a.m.
The explosion took place at a residence situated in the town of Grow.
The occupant who was present in the house during the explosion managed to transport themselves to the hospital.
Preliminary findings by investigators point towards a probable gas leak in the basement as the cause of the explosion.
