EAA AirVenture drew hundreds of thousands of attendees in a record-setting year.
It has been released that an estimated 677,000 people walked through the gates at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, which is 27,000 more than last year.
Of those guests, 2,372 came from around the world and represented 93 countries.
There were also records set in the number of campers, exhibitors, and volunteers, all there to see 21,883 aircraft operations, equating to about 148 takeoffs per hour.
It is estimated that the 11-day event injected Winnebago, Outagamie, Fond du Lac, Calumet, Brown, and Manitowoc Counties with about $170 million.
