
An apartment building in Green Bay was severely damaged yesterday (July 31st) when an SUV slammed into the side of it.
According to the Green Bay Police Department, the crash happened just after noon in the 1400 block of Western Avenue.
When police arrived, they found a large hole in the brick exterior of the building and a dark blue SUV partially inside a first-floor apartment.
The driver and passenger of the vehicle were said to be uninjured and the occupant of the apartment was not home at the time of the crash.
The building was evacuated while crews stabilized it.
The cost of the damage has not yet been estimated, and the cause of the crash has not yet been revealed.
