One person was injured and another is in police custody following a shooting in Appleton’s Erb Park.
The Appleton Police Department is reporting that the incident occurred at around 4:30 p.m. Monday in the park located at 1800 North Morrison Street.
When police arrived, they found an injured individual and several people fleeing the scene.
Specifics of the shooting have not been released as the investigation is ongoing, however, we do know that one person is in police custody.
The investigators have also revealed that the attack was targeted at the victim and that the public is not believed to be in any danger.
