Kenosha witnessed a heartbreaking incident yesterday as a 58-year-old man lost his life to the overwhelming current.
According to authorities, the man was swimming alongside his adult son when they were both caught by the force of the current.
While a quick-thinking individual on a jet ski managed to rescue the son, the father slipped beneath the water’s surface.
Efforts to save the man’s life were promptly initiated, and the Coast Guard swiftly retrieved his body from the water.
However, despite their best efforts, he was pronounced dead at the hospital shortly thereafter.
