
A Green Bay man that turned himself in a fatal shooting earlier this month has been identified and charged.
According to a report from the Green Bay Police Department, Michael Putala is facing charges of 1st Degree Reckless Homicide and two counts of 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, all with the Use of a Dangerous Weapon.
Putala turned himself in on July 15th, but charges were just filed by the Brown County District Attorney’s Office on Friday (July 28th).
The shooting occurred in the 1100 block of Cass Street and resulted in the death of a 24-year-old man, whose name has not been revealed.
