A Fond du Lac man who attacked a police officer has been sentenced.
Jayson Keniston was ordered to spend 14 years in jail followed by 15 years on extended supervision.
The assault occurred in January after officers had responded to a residence in the city for a disorderly conduct complaint.
An officer had asked Keniston for his identification, which is when he began violently attacking the officer.
The attack ended up breaking the officer’s nose and thumb, rupturing their ACL, and covering them with cuts and abrasions.
Keniston was previously convicted on a Battery charge as well as three counts of Disorderly Conduct.
