Taylor D. Schabusines
The Taylor Schabusiness trail continued yesterday in the Brown County Courthouse.
Testimony began with Dr. Vincent Tranchida, the Dane County Medical Examiner, who conducted the autopsy on Shad Thyrion.
While the defense claimed that the showing of autopsy photos could cause prejudice in the jury, Judge Thomas Walsh disagreed, saying they were vital to the testimony.
While on the stand, Dr. Tranchida confirmed that Thyrion’s death was a homicide, and also noted that he had died from strangulation.
He also pointed to the injuries on his neck and how they were not “simple injuries”.
Another sign that he had died prior to dismemberment was the lack of any signs of bleeding, which would have been present if his heart were still pumping.
It was also estimated that the dismemberment would have taken a few hours. A clip has also been making the rounds on social media, which shows Schabusiness making a firing gun motion with her hands.
