
Milwaukee Police are currently investigating an incident of an officer-involved shooting that took place last night on Milwaukee’s south side along 27th Street.
No injuries were reported during the incident, which occurred around 9:30 PM.
According to the Milwaukee Police, they received a distress call concerning an armed man in the area.
Upon reaching the scene, the officers encountered the individual who reportedly pointed his firearm at them before attempting to flee.
A brief pursuit ensued, during which law enforcement ordered the suspect to disarm.
It was during this confrontation that an officer from the Milwaukee Police Department discharged their weapon which did not harm anyone.
The suspect was subsequently apprehended by the authorities and taken into custody.
As of now, an investigation into the entire sequence of events is underway to determine the circumstances that led to the officer’s use of force.
