The company that created the cheesehead hats that can be seen all throughout Lambeau Field during Packer home games is now owned by the team.
Foamation Inc out of Milwaukee has been making the iconic hats since 1987, and Founder Ralph Bruno is the one who initiated the conversation with the Packers organization.
In a release, the Packers state that Bruno approached them to discuss the future of Foamation, and since the Packers are the largest buyer of the product, the deal is mutually beneficial.
Packers Vice President of Marketing and Fan Engagement Gabrielle Dow wrote in that statement, “We’re looking forward to building upon the legacy the Bruno family has created over the years and offering our fans even more Cheesehead items to love.”
Bruno says he and his wife Sue are “both very excited about what the Packers can do with the Cheesehead going forward.”
