The largest gathering of airplanes in the nation begins today in Oshkosh.
The 2023 EAA AirVenture officially began at 7:00 a.m. when the gates opened at Wittman Regional Airport as thousands of airplane and aviation enthusiasts converge to celebrate the industry.
The morning will begin with the morning pre-flight at 6:00, followed by a balloon static inflation.
There will also be parachutists, a metal shaping demonstration, and a hands-on workshop.
Gas welding will also be taught, along with a look into the future of aviation, and that’s just the morning events.
