Tanya Stammer
An Appleton woman has been convicted for her role in a 2021 homicide.
31-year-old Tanya Stammer was due to have her trial begin today for the killing of Brian Porsche, but she pleaded guilty Friday to a charge of Second-Degree Intentional Homicide.
Stammer was initially charged with 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, but it was reduced because she allegedly was not the one who pulled the trigger.
Stammer and Dontae Payne were arrested shortly after the incident in a home on West Division Street on March 30th, 2021.
The two had targeted Porsche, according to police reports, and after the attack, attempted to make it look like a robbery.
Payne is due in court on August 23rd for a hearing, while Stammer will be sentenced on October 4th, where she could receive up to 60 years in prison.
