Five people have been charged in the death of a man in Ripon whose body was found lying on a sidewalk.
21-year-old Michael Manske, 17-year-old Maison Springston, and 15-year-old Joseph Schmidt-Rehbein, all of Ripon, have been charged with 1st Degree Reckless Homicide as Party to the Crime, as has 17-year-old Donavyn Mueller of Monroe.
The fifth suspect is 17-year-old Olivia Norvold, who has been charged with Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place.
The body of the unidentified 18-year-old was found lying on a sidewalk in the area of Scott and Stanton Streets on April 7th.
Some witness reports led the investigators to a residence where Manske and Norvold lived.
Norvold admitted that the victim and the other suspects were all at the home and were taking drugs.
The victim began showing signs of an overdose, but instead of getting them help, Schmidt-Rehbein allegedly threw them over his shoulder and walked outside.
All five suspects are being charged in adult court, but they can request a move to juvenile court down the line.
