Two Green Bay residents are without a home following an electrical fire over the weekend.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department reports that they were called to a roof fire in the 1100 block of South Norwood Avenue at around 7:45 Saturday morning.
All of the residents had evacuated the home by the time crews arrived, so they jumped into action, taking down the blaze within about 15 minutes.
Two cats were also rescued in the process.
An investigation determined that the fire started due to an electrical failure in the attic and that the damage was estimated to be about $85,000 worth.
