The Green Bay teenager who was driving during a fatal crash is trying to get her case moved to juvenile court.
Sienna Pecore was in Brown County Court Tuesday as her defense team aims to make the switch.
Pecore was driving a car at speeds over 100 miles per hour last October on West Mason Street when she crashed, killing 17-year-old Cruz Beltran.
She was 15 years old at the time, but due to the severity of the case, she was being charged in adult court.
A psychologist that spoke with Pecore told the court that she isn’t as adept as others her age to the “red flags” that indicate a person that she shouldn’t hang out with, and thus, was easily led down a bad path.
Pecore is due back in court at 9:00 this morning as testimony continues.
