Madison Police remain tight-lipped about the activities of an armed felon who was apprehended for trespassing in a downtown apartment.
According to authorities, a vigilant security guard made a startling discovery yesterday morning when a loaded gun slipped out of the sweatshirt pocket belonging to 23-year-old Gary Price.
Seizing the opportunity, Price promptly fled the scene but was swiftly apprehended a few blocks away.
Police have revealed that the guard was in the process of escorting Price out of the apartment building when the incident occurred.
Price now faces multiple charges, including possession of a firearm by a felon, carrying a concealed weapon, bail jumping, and a probation violation.
As the case progresses, the District Attorney’s office will carefully evaluate the charges against Price.
