A strike has commenced at the Leinenkugel’s Brewery in Chippewa Falls, causing a disruption in operations.
Monday morning, a portion of the plant’s workforce decided to walk off the job. Approximately 45 individuals affiliated with the local Teamsters union are participating in the strike, advocating for improved compensation within their new contract.
In response, a representative from Leinenkugel’s has stated that the company has presented a competitive offer to the workers.
Notably, despite the strike, the brewery assures the public that beer production will continue without significant interruption.
This marks the first instance of a strike at Leinenkugel’s since the 1980s.
