Wisconsin’s broadband task force is aiming for even greater internet speeds, according to their latest report.
Released Monday, the third report from Governor Evers’ Task Force on Broadband Access provides an update on ongoing efforts to expand high-speed internet access throughout the state, as well as outlining future objectives.
While the task force remains committed to achieving internet connectivity with a download speed of 25 megabits by 2025, the report introduces an ambitious new goal of 100 megabits by 2028.
To accomplish this target, the report emphasizes the need for increased funding and technical modifications to expedite the construction process in Wisconsin.
