A local inline speed skater is coming home with a medal.
Head Coach Carly Valdez tells us that Braylon Jensen, who just turned 12 last week, earned a silver medal in the 500m Elementary Boys race at the USA Roller Sports Speed Skating National Championships in Lincoln Nebraska.
Also making the trip is 16-year-old Zakia Kalista, and 15-year-old Owen Garcia, who have yet to compete.
The team races their short and sprint distance races today (July 11th).
