Nearly a month has passed since a 13-year-old boy from Sauk County disappeared after entering Devil’s Lake State Park.
The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office confirmed yesterday that James Yoblonski, the missing teenager, has yet to be located, and the search efforts are ongoing.
According to James’ father, it is possible that his son is attempting to survive in the wilderness as part of a personal challenge.
Last month, law enforcement officials and volunteers dedicated an entire week to combing through the wooded areas, where they discovered some evidence indicating that James had been camping.
Since then, there have been reports from individuals claiming to have spotted him, but unfortunately, these reports were received too late to pursue any meaningful leads.
The sheriff emphasizes that the case remains open, and the search for James Yoblonski continues.
