A Fond du Lac woman is facing charges after she allegedly assaulted an emergency room nurse.
The incident occurred in the evening hours of June 28th at Saint Agnes Hospital.
The police complaint says that 32-year-old Hope Smith was non-verbal when she arrived at the hospital for undisclosed injuries.
A nurse began to draw blood, which is when Smith started screaming and kicked the nurse in the chest. She has been charged with Bodily Harm or Threats to an Employee of a Health Care Facility and Felony Bail Jumping.
Her bail was set at $500 cash and she is due back in court on July 13th for her preliminary hearing.
