The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers’ offensive attack was efficient last night as they took down the Beloit Sky Carp 14-5 in Appleton.
The Carp struck early, tagging Stivin Cruz for three runs in the first inning, but the Rattlers took control from there.
The home squad pounded out 12 hits while scoring four runs in the 2nd and 3rd innings, and two more in the 5th, 8th, and 9th innings.
Alex Hall had a day to remember, going 4-5 with a pair of home runs and two doubles, all while driving in 9 runs.
Cruz and Miguel Guerrero would combine to allow 10 hits while striking out five batters. Game three of the Rattlers/Sky Carp series is scheduled for tonight at Fox Cities Stadium.
Tyler Woessner is slated to take on Jared Poland with a start time of 6:40 p.m.
Tonight is also Sitcom Night, with special guest Kate Flannery, best known for her role as Meredith on the U.S. version of The Office.
