Further details have emerged regarding the suspension of Jordan Turner from the Badgers team last week.
The suspension came in the wake of Turner’s arrest for OWI on the Beltline, which occurred early last week.
In a statement, Turner expressed remorse for his actions during the arrest.
However, this incident was not an isolated one, as it marked the latest in a series of troubling incidents involving Turner.
Apart from the OWI arrest, Turner is also facing charges for allegedly driving at a speed of 117 miles per hour on the interstate in Rock County.
Additionally, he has an outstanding traffic ticket in Farmington Hills, Michigan, and has failed to appear in court for that matter.
As a consequence, the Badgers have made the decision to suspend Turner indefinitely.
It is important to note Turner’s significant contributions to the team in the past.
He served as one of the team’s leading tacklers last year and was recognized as the Most Valuable Defensive Player in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl held in December.
Nonetheless, due to his recent behavior and legal troubles, the Badgers have taken the necessary action to suspend him indefinitely.
