Independence Day started on a sad note in Sheboygan County. The Sheriff’s Office received a call at around 8:00 a.m. reporting an unresponsive man in a ditch in the Town of Sheboygan.
The caller claimed to have heard a loud noise, and when they went outside to investigate, they found the man.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by responding EMS, but what exactly caused his death has not been revealed.
One person has been arrested for their involvement, but no identities were released, nor were the pending charges.
More information is expected to be released today.
