The Manitowoc Fire Department was called into action Sunday morning on a report of a garage fire.
The call came in reporting the blaze in the 700 block of South 26th Street just before 10:30 a.m.
Crews arrived to find smoke and flames coming from the garage and were able to bring the fire under control within 20 minutes.
Nine nearby structures suffered heat damage, as did a vehicle located outside of the garage, but no injuries were reported.
The garage will need to be torn down due to the damage, but at this point, it is not clear what caused the fire.
The total cost of the damage has not been determined either.
The Manitowoc Fire Rescue Department was aided on the scene by Manitowoc Police, MPU, Manitowoc Public Works, and Wisconsin Public Service.
