The individual suspected of the murder that occurred at an apartment complex in Ashwaubenon in March is currently being detained on a bond amounting to one million dollars.
Following the shooting death of 23-year-old Braxton Phillips, Prez Wade, the defendant, was ordered by a judge yesterday to be held on a seven-figure bond.
While Wade claimed to authorities that the shooting was an accidental result of his intoxication, investigators discovered evidence suggesting Wade attempted to conceal his involvement in the crime.
Furthermore, it was revealed that Wade received assistance from the mother of his child, who was in a relationship with Phillips at the time.
Prosecutors assert that the altercation leading up to the shooting was sparked by a dispute between Wade and Phillips over the woman.
Charges have also been filed against her in connection with the incident.
Wade’s next court appearance is scheduled for the following week.
