An employee at the Vollrath Company in Sheboygan had to be taken to a local hospital for treatment of burns yesterday (June 27th).
The Sheboygan Fire Department sent crews to the business at 1236 North 18th Street at around 1:40 a.m. on a report of an industrial fire.
They arrived to find that a piece of equipment had caught fire and that an employee had suffered burns.
The blaze was quickly extinguished, and the employee was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
What caused the piece of equipment to catch fire has not yet been determined, nor has the cost of the damage it caused.
